What have you done today with your Austin Seven
Aye Ruairidh, the gleaming skies so beautifully reflected in that splendid looking paintwork would suggest that you were not doing outdoors assembly work in South Wales yesterday

A lovely little tangerine Airfix kit and looking great....what’s the number marked on the back of the steering wheel spoke?

It's "Vintage Date Line". Cool

Ruairidh, the Car looks a treat! Beautiful!

Lovely looking car. What are the two extra bolts on the engine for. One on the mag gears casing and one on the inlet manifold? Is it an illusion or is the starting dog larger than normal?
Keep up the fantastic work.
Adrian.

This car is one of the very last Mag. engined AD Tourers, it has the new style rad, door, R47 headlamps and no scuttle vents.

The hole in the timing cover may have been for lubrication and the inlet bolt most likely a vacuum take off, both make after-market and now sealed up.

It looks rather nice, does it have a home? I could find space for it!

The car has been in the same family since 1958 - it is not for sale. They commissioned a restoration that is nearly complete.

Drive It Day, so went to church in the RP. People enjoyed seeing it; some took photos, quite a few of them with their kids in it.

Being a bit of a sad git I like the standing seam anthracite zinc (?) roof and cladding. Very tidy.
