Hi All
Shame it doesn’t have its original registration number! But it must have spent time overseas and been re-registered on its return?
Cheers

Originally VG 2409, was re-registered with an Isle of Man number when Doug Baird owned it; it's strange that the original number was not re-allocated to it when it returned to the UK.

I saw the Ulster on the Isle of Man several years ago. I seem to recall that it had the registration MN 1931.

Doug Baird lent this car to Les Gammon and I in the 1990s to drive around Douglas when we were racing my Alvis and A7 special.
The steering castor was negative and it wanted to turn corners all the time! Performance was very pedestrian. Somebody has obviously done a lot of work on it.
