Longbridge Needs You!
#1
The Inter Register Club have announced their intended dates for this years nav rally championship. With the Grasshopper Trophy events being well attended trials and Bert Hadley a nationally significant hillclimb championship, the Inter Reg Rally Championship is perhaps the most modest of the disciplines. PWA7C usually come second or third, behind MGCC or Riley Register though whilst checking previous results I wads surprised to find that I was credited with an award last year. So Longbridge needs you to enter the rally closest to you, and with numbers of Seven owners in Surry and Sussex and in Yorkshire, (is that the same as Sheffield?) let us see if we can despatch Abingdon into the weeds this year.  PWA7C membership is enough, MSUK licences are also needed but cost nothing and now that the computer system works a licence will be emailed to you within moments of applying. PWA7C is now an eligible club for VSCC rallies. Scrutes will not check lighting arrangements for daytime events, Sevens with LEDs are excluded from the Measham again this year

Sun 1 Oct MGCC Naviscat Surrey 1942mgman@gmail.com

Event numbers are rather few this year, and last year saw a couple of cancellations. If you feel interested in organising a nav rally, a naviscat or even a twelve car event, please contact PWA7C's rally supremo Rob Rhodes; robbrid@hotmail.co.uk.
Seven owners up and down the Marches will be greatly encouraged to enter the Tom Pellow Rally when encountered in pub car parks and speed event paddocks. Bribes in the form of the big slices of cake will be offered in the Ross Livestock Market Canteen, at the autojumbles. Some of us are prepared to make great sacrifices in order to help the PWA7C chase a trophy. On 1st April we will be threading our way through the narrow lanes and up and down the steep hills of Worcestershire, instead of tasting the pure adrenalin of reaching the high thirties down the back straight at Curborough.

Finally, apologies to anyone who tried to read this in the jumbled form it assumed previously, let's hope that editing and saying rude words have bashed it into shape.
