Bob, it looks like your Ruby missed out on that photo by about six cars! The second one from the camera has the registration number DMA 962, which makes it chassis 262218, entry number 371 of K W Cotterill.

No problem Ruairidh, I feel duty bound to ensure that Dad's treasures are shared in whatever way seems most appropriate.

Dad was very proud to represent the Austin Seven movement at the Austin ex-apprentices meetings on many occasions. The one highlighted above, must have been one of his first.

Shocking, not sure how Dad would have coped without some ice cream to round things off.
Brocoli au Beurre.....It's still brocoli however you dress it up.

Here's a nice picture. I think it is Donald Doughty driving, Stan Edge passengering and John Ward loitering in the entrance to Lickey Grange. I am happy to be corrected though.

Lovely photo, and yes, that's Donald Doughty, the A7CA's first President and founder of the Swallow and Pram Hood Registers. A lovely man, quite happy to spend an afternoon chatting to a 19-year-old fellow Pram Hood owner at a local fête.
Stanley in the passenger seat, and I think John in the background.
