Date-wise I would guess early/mid-1950s, but location? Could be anywhere!

Location you should know well, Mike. It’s circa 1955 and it’s slightly worrying that in the pictures on the VSCC site there are people I knew.

It would help me in providing a date as the 1922 Standard SLO pictured at the same event and featured on the VSCC Enthusiasts Facebook site, as mentioned by Alan, is owned by a friend who's trying to piece its history together.
I don't have VSCC Bulletins going back that far!

Chris the relevant VSCC bulletin is scanned and available on their website. You might care to look around Summer 1955 paying attention to page 30 or thereabouts.
