This is a simple question I hope I can get an answer for.
Is it possible to enter the Centenary for a single day and if so which is the best day. I was thinking about Saturday 22 or Sunday 23.
It would be good to get to the autojumble.
Can I get a day ticket on the gate?
Many thanks Neil

Sorry Neil. The event has been sold out for months and no tickets are or will be available to purchase.

Does that mean that no one can now even enter the site as a visitor on foot ?

Hi Pete,
Try and get yourself to the Prescott Hillcimb venue on the Wednesday
You will see some rare cars in action on the hill as well as lots to see in the Austin Seven car park.

It's rather sad to observe that the "Motor for the Masses" has become so exclusive. I've had a few ales and they tend to loosen the tongue!

Unlike a football stadium or cinema, that has a finite number of seats available, can somebody explain why no day visitors.???
1000 cars could potentially carry 3000+ driver and passengers, so is there a physical limit that the venue will permit and has this been filled ???
My own plans have changed at the last minute and I am now free that week, & object to the barrier that's in place. Surely this would not ever happen at Beaulieu !!!!

Really sorry to everyone who may have missed the huge amount of publicity, advertising, posts on social media, newsletters, club mags etc over many weeks advertising the event in the run up to the bookings opening last September - and selling out quickly.
Please do not arrive at the Fire Service College without an entry document as you will not be admitted. It has nothing to do with 'exclusive' and everything to do with the well-publicised limit on capacity.
You can still get a ticket to attend the Festival at Prescott on the Wednesday.

You're answering your own questions, Flywheel. And as you infer, it's irritating for you last minute but people DID have a perfectly good chance of a party ticket knowing the particular arrangements for a somewhat specialised venue. And that's the way the cookie crumbles.
It WILL be a good closed party now for several thousands of people - but there are plenty other events happening through the summer and you can still attend the Wednesday Prescott gathering where the rare cars (some that will go on Moreton) will be.
"Surely this would never happen at Beaulieu?" Quite right - it could never happen there, as there is huge accommodation 'village' at Moreton, akin to how the Olympics works.

The thing that I don't understand is why someone who bought a ticket 10 months ago but now cannot attend is not allowed to give/sell their ticket to someone like flywheel1935.

Everyone has had exactly the same opportunity to enter the event
We were warned time and time again that the event had strictly imited numbers, and that specific rules and regulations were insisted upon by the site owners.
I can see that some recent, newer owners may be upset and that’s a pity.
However seeing long standing contributors to this posting making silly comments about the event being exclusive.and some being banned is of no use.
It’s not true and those who know it’s not true should stop causing trouble, just for the sake of it.
It is not possible to change the situation, and I think that those of us intelligent enough to understand the terms of entry, would be happy to be left to enjoy the event, without this perpetual carping.
