Is that a standard head with priming plugs? Lotus were retailing an aluminium head in the early fifties as fitted to Lotus 3, Pat Stephens had one on the Stoneham. Is this a modified engine or a fairly standard one being done for a customer?

It appears to have a downdraught inlet manifold, so I assume it has been tweaked somewhat...
