Another Box for restoration

And still they turn up; a complete but badly-neglected example.

That would make a great project for someone and thankfully it looks like it has its original registration number so there is a good chance the new owner can find something of its history.

I'd love to have a go at that one, can't open the page and I don't do Facebook, what price and where is it?

It's in the Facebook Austin 7 Spares/cars for sale group. I'm afraid that are no details of location or price. You could join Facebook, look at the group, post a question and then unjoin when finished. https://www.facebook.com/groups/446865196470389
There is a mass of cars/parts/stuff/data - and utter rubbish too, of course - on Facebook. One does not have to get drawn in https://itstillworks.com/disadvantages-f...-3355.html Join the groups that interest you and limit time to just those.
Here's one that might drive you mad - the metal-benders group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1765984860250157
and https://www.facebook.com/groups/3wheelers

Not on the DVLA register, so I hope it comes with an original log book so that the number can be reclaimed.

Duncan,

The car has been left to the vendor by his deceased step father. The vendor apparently lives in Northampton but doesn't say whether the car is located there or elsewhere. No price has been put forward so far. Says he's not been able to find any documents as yet and is not sure where any paperwork might be.

Having once been a FB member I tried to leave and despite asking for all my details to be erased, if by chance I click on a page by mistake I get a "Welcome back Duncan" so they do not erase details and I'll be b*ggered if I'm going to give them more information, so there!
"Cut off my nose" did I hear someone say?...

It's quite difficult to escape. It took me three tunnels before I managed it. Twice I was captured by the school leopard and was thoroughly thrashed by the head boy. I also had to do 500 lines entitled "I must try not to escape..."

There is a facility which enables you to deactivate your account. I think you can access it via the 'security' tab on the settings menu. It's not easy, probably deliberately, but if you ever go back they've got you again. I keep well clear although it's almost like having an invisible wrist tattoo.

I have since joined the resistance. We meet at café René twice a week.

FB has so much going on that it's impossible to follow it all - but any interesting A7-related material I spot I usually post here for non-members; like this sharp photograph of the sport-looking Australian "Meteor"
