I seem to remember somebody selling spare wheel covers of the easy to see type, any ideas where? We mostly travel on the back roads but occasioanaly have to do short stints on busy bits of road. I was following our special back from the trimmers on Saturday and was supprised once in the modern traffic how invisible it became and would like something bright so the less aware users of our highways can see us.

The trimmers would make you one just give them the wheel.

Have cable tied a warning triangle before to the spare wheel for added visibility.

My only concern over these LED flashing lights is that they can distract.
I have a similar one on my RP and a while ago had someone having a go at me when turning right. It would appear that the 'dazzling' LEDs were overshadowing and distracting from my less bright/visible indicators. I now run the LEDs on a lower light level setting.

I've used the warning triangle on the spare wheel as well. It seems to work.

Whilst a bit of a faff we have a member who swears by 2 balloons. They flap around at speed creating that visual 'what is it' but don't distract from the indicators when turning. Not much good at night though.

Dave,
they don't if you punch a couple of holes in the bottom and rivet in some eyelets.
