Some may have seen photos of this car last year on Facebook.
Since then the owner decided that taking this car on as a first Austin 7 project was a bit much, via a mutual contact we were able to go and pick it up today.
First inspections and it seems to be a remarkable timewarp car. Apparently built as a special in the late 1950's and then used briefly before being parked in a shed for 60+ years. Last taxed in 1958.
The nicely made body is sat on top of what is pretty much a matching numbers 10 stud unblown Ulster. More to come as it happens but it's going to be a slow process of researching more about the car and owners and what it's past was. One surprise was when opening the boot to see a mouse staring back, for a while after that more and more of them scurrying out of it.
