Nick that is a very interesting photograph.
From my knowledge of the car and it’s past it was taken before 1973. The cycle front wings were fixed to the stub axles and flapped all over the place. I did the Lands End John’oGroats run in the car with Clive Hamilton Gould. On our way home one wing fell off so they were both replaced with a pair of plywood blade type wings as shown in my earlier photo. At present the wings, both front and rear are being changed to chummy type and the windscreen is being changed. Having checked the body dimensions the body shell is definitely a sports body with a chummy windscreen fitted. I am still desperate to find more details of the 1925 sports windscreen and dashboard and the seats and how they fit
A copy of the photo wold be appreciated

I know nothing about 1925 Sports, but i do know of a way of arguing that is wrong, albeit usually not done on purpose. It goes like this: if you have a cow, you will likely find it has 4 legs. However, if you have 4 legs it doesn’t necessarily mean you have a cow. Also, if you find you have 2 legs, you’re probably not a cow. As for ‘dimensions’: if you have a 1925 sports you will have the right dimensions (a cow). If your dimensions are wrong, it’s definitely not a 1925 Sports (2 legs). But if the dimensions are correct - it doesn’t mean a thing, it could be anything (4 legs don’t make a cow). As said this way of arguing is usually not done on purpose, but is unfortunately very common.

Colin, the photo you posted of EH 7537 is probably the best you're going to get to show the dashboard/scuttle arrangement of the 1925 Sports. As you can see, RK 4953 has the standard chummy scuttle, dashboard and steering column, so you will have a major rebuilding exercise to convert it to Sports specification. RK presumably also has the standard floor-pan, so further modifications will be needed there to replicate the Sports seating arrangement.
It's possible that RK's doors came from a Sports, in which case you've got a basic datum from which to start.
