It was sad to hear last year that old friend Bluto passed away his collection of cars has to be disposed of,
therefore I have a question: do you know anyone, who would like to buy the Rosengart? Bluto collected whole bunch of parts thinking about the restoration. So there is the van, second frame on wheels, the original engine taken apart and one more complete, the original gearbox, and the brand new parts he ordered to rebuild the engine - pistons, rods, crank etc. The van is the other surviving of my LR4 van.
If you are interested in going to Poland to purchase please give me a mail
I am always interested in any information about Rosengart details or current owners.

Didn't know he owned a Rosengart. There's some footage of Bluto with another of his cars here.

I would expect the new engine bits to go with the rest of the car, or at least I would hope so. I sourced the bits so can give a bit more detail.
Pheonix crank - ground the same as the Rosengart for the main bearings. Pressure Fed
Phenix rods and shells
Tony B's Slipper pistons - can't remember the size.
Special pressure fed nose piece to fit the rosengart done by Paul Bonewell
High flow Paul B oil pump and pressure relief valve.
At prices then I think the total was around £2500.
Hope that helps it find a good home.

As Tom said it is certainly better that the engine parts stays with the van they were bought for. I'm out.
Thanks anyway.
