R47 Reflector help needed.

Good morning all.

Two pairs of re-silvered R47 reflectors have been lost by a carrier. They were despatched 'signed for' and the tracking data shows them as delivered but the company cannot produce evidence to support this. Now an impasse has been reached.

This has caused me a real problem as they were for cars being prepared for the 2022 Centenary event.

Does anyone have similiar reflectors that they would be willingto part with? They are the type mounted on three spring loaded fingers and have the narrow 'brim' with three slots.

Any help would be gratefully received.

Hello, they are the later type R47 fitted from late 1929 to 1931. The very last were fitted to the first RN’s.

The impasse...-- have you tried your local MP's office to help sort it. They will usually have access to well informed "legal brains and resources" that would cost us mere mortals too much.
