Yes, and Lucas switch-panel and cut-out, later steering column and wheel; not much '1924' left there!

I did get the impression that Sir Ray Stanley Tindle CBE DL wasn't a stickler for details on his cars.... There appeared to be many 'anomolies' if one looked closely

Putting it back to 1924 specification and so able to enjoy its many foibles is going to be expensive and time-consuming. If left as-is, where's the attraction? - one might as well have a later model. Shame about the BS registration - that's another expense to get a more period, cherished plate. |
