Perhaps the Canadians like to be just a little different ... It's interesting to see that the door, the triangular section above it, and the bodyside panels are all lined. Unfortunately, to give the van a decent-looking red body would require a much sharper, higher-resolution image - and lots of work.

Did anyone notice that holes are on A post for semaphores , but no units are fitted, cost may be?

The holes are Ventilators I think.

I think Bill is right... If you expand the photo you can see the ventilator is open but up underneath the moulding line on the scuttle you can see where the semaphores would have been mounted. In fact, the change of paint colour at that point would seem to suggest they might have been removed...

Yes thats right Reckless,semaphores were fitted to RP saloons from about september 1933,vans later.
