This is making me want to rush out in the cold and start cutting up those two boards of ash I have 'maturing'!
I'm especially taken with the rear window detail.

Thank you Malcolm, I had never considered the turbulence issue but it is quite a big peak!
There is something very satisfying working with ash. I have to keep telling myself not to get carried away with the finishing, given that most of it will never be seen. Inside the boot is the exception so I can get quite obsessive there!

As youngsters, building Airfix kits, we always painted the interiors of the aircraft. They would never be seen again but 'we knew it was there'. I still occasionally make one, and I still do the interiors. So Peter, you fettle as you see fit - and enjoy knowing it's been done. And we will enjoy knowing too...

Amazing work! I did the front doors on my Delage around six years ago...(the workmanship isn’t as stunning as yours but they fit) I’ve been putting off doing the rear doors ever since- I guess I’m going to have to bite the bullet though as I’m trying to get the car on the road next year!

Peter, that is such superb workmanship. The finished body will look a real treat.
Cheers,
Dave.
