#1
Up for auction at Anglia Auctions. Austin 7 Pocklington Special.

Does the assembled company know anything about it?

Yes I do!
Built by great 7 enthusiast and true Gentleman Charles Pocklington of Esher, Surrey around 2000. Sold after his untimely death in 2005  to Andrew Davies, also of Esher and then sold on to  a guy in Norfolk, who's name I can find for you but cannot remember just now! He greatly remodelled it and presumably is the vendor now.
I have pictures of it in it's first format and also the second.
I own an original Chummy which was completely restored by Charles and also a Rod Yates Ulsteroid that he built up in 2004.

Appears to a be Bowden front end, but has what looks like a Hillman Imp Rack and Pinion setup. Also seems to have huge wheel spacers at the front -a large chunk of the brake drum is exposed as per West London wheels, but the wheel centres appear to be factory Austin items. The VW Beetle dynamo conversion should be useful as there must be an electric rad fan in there somewhere.

And an electric water pump too.

I think it needs a satchel strapping to that side mounted spare wheel.
