The contortions achieved by the man in the second picture are amazing. Assuming of course he hasn't got normal sized arms and a 1 foot long body.

Interesting picture, but the accompanying text is odd. They are certainly not aircrew  -  all are what in those days would probably be called "Erks", although one of them is a corporal.

The building in the background is unlike any RAF structure that I ever came across. It looks suspiciously like a nice old weather-boarded Essex pub!

I think it was taken long after RAF Great Dunmow closed and would suggest the the caption "RAF Dunmow" refers to a gang of RAF pals, from one of the many bases still open in the area, outside a Dunmow pub.
