Since toys have been introduced to the thread, I thought I would show this marvelous little wooden Vintage racer that Father Christmas gave to me in my stocking (along with other treats). It came as a bag of wooden parts that you assembled to your liking, so I chose to make it look like something from the 30's.
I painted it with paint left over from my MGA and hand lettered the tyres and all the details on it. The license number is fictional :OK 0291 meaning its ok and built second month (02) of 1991 (91). I've had it a long time.
I find it has charming appeal for something so simple. Any resemblance to anything made by Austin is purely coincidental !
Cheers,
Stephen
