Replacement instrument faces.

On a related note, can anyone advise on how to safely remove the needle of a PA speedo?

The needle is just a push-fit on the spindle, so in theory it just needs prising off ... famous last words!

Martin. You may find it looks a bit like the Antikythera Mechanism inside when you finally tease it apart. Good Luck!

  if it doesn't JUST prize off, then you need a needle puller. You can either make one or they are available commercially. 
  Hope this is of help.

On the speedometer which I have just refurbished, I held the metal disc which the magnets drag aound and gently twisted the needle back and forth, pulling at the same time. It came of fairly easily. Admittedly, mine was a later model and yours may not have the disc to grip.

Martin I used a tack removal tool to remove the needle and a bit of cloth to protect the face.
