A bit late but here is an Ulster second gear with ramps, note 9C number and hardness test mark. Hope it is of interest.

The contrast with the complex machining of the synchro model components is remarkable. Looks like a century difference, not just a few years. Presumably without the ramps will respond to brute force. Can the standard dogs be felt through the lever sliding over without slotting fully in?
