.There have been discussions of the value of ali sumps, not deep ribbed sumps for competition but standard capacity or semi-deep for improved rigidity. Last time they were mentioned, no new ones were to be found. Have any of our cherished suppliers had a batch made?

Is anyone doing the deep ('Nippy') ones at present?

Tony Betts had the standard capacity, ribbed type in stock a couple of weeks ago.

There is a deep alloy sump on e-Bay at the moment. Sorry but my computer skills do not extend to creating a link!

Wioth a 2 brg crank, crankcase rigidity matters little, although it can reduce block oil leaks

The alloy sump I'd like to find is the type that Alan Raeburn used to make with the chamfer to the bottom, front edge. Any ideas where?
