I'm just setting up to make the metalwork for a batch of sunroof sliding panels for RP and Ruby models.
I have some apparently inconsistent measurements, so before making the prototypes, I want to double-check the overall external width and length of the siding panels for both the Mk1 ARQ and Mk2 ARR Rubies.
Can anyone help, please?

On my 1937 Mk2 ARR Ruby, the top panel measures 27 5/8" front to back, and across it is 34 1/2" at the front and 34 1/4" at the rear. This is measuring round the curve of the roof and includes the thin single layer of the covering. So far as I know, the frame is original - without the covering it looks similar to others I have seen.

Thanks, Colin. The width ties up with mine, but yours is an inch longer front-to back, which is what I hoped to hear!
Confirmation of my belief that the ARQ panel is the same size as the ARR would be much appreciated!

Many thanks, Steve. The car appears to be a Mk1 - is that correct?
