I can't find any date for this year's Autokarna at Wollaton listed anywhere. I know there were doubts expressed about it last year by some on the forum. Have I missed something?

You can normally camp on site Alan, pre-booking is necessary.
Amenities are sparse and you have to make sure you are back in the grounds before they lock the gates (around 9pm I think) nonetheless it's quite a decent place to pitch a tent.

31st May is the correct and yes booking is essential. If you just turn up you will not be admitted.

For anyone who has not been before, the event is held at Wollaton Park, on the outskirts of Nottingham. The 500 acre site comprises an Elizabethan Hall containing a natural history museum, as well as a deer park and industrial museum. The event usually attracts over 600 classic and vintage vehicles of all description, a large autojumble, fairground, charity stalls and a large new car show.
Something in fact for the whole family.
