They don’t look exactly the same (the top bit with ball on is different) but they look like Mk1 Ruby. The difference being they a have a ball where my Ruby catches have a hole to fit the chain for opening the lock.

I don't think they are Austin, the deign details aren't Longbridge style.

Thanks, guys, I was hoping that I could convert them for my Nippy, but like you, Mike I'm not sure they are from the Austin range.
I have now bought the correct latches for the car.

They are Wilmot Breedon latches, I can't tell you what make of car exactly as they appear to have been used on more than one. Although similar to Nippy items is some ways I am not sure you will find them suitable, I had a couple of pair when I made some new Nippy latches thinking that some parts would be useful, in the end I did not use anything from them.

Hi Ian, that was my thoughts in the end, thinking that I could work them into a pair of Nippy type latches. However, Willie Mckenzie just had a batch of original style made, so bought them instead. He did say that he wouldn't be having another batch made once all sold with only few pairs left , so I think this is the last chance saloon for anyone still wanting the correct look re the 65 and Nippy interior door latches.

Rosengarts are fitted with a very similar set up.
I am always interested in any information about Rosengart details or current owners.
