Wot, you didn't find any swapmeet bargains at that Texas car show? The motorcycle museum looks almost as "Harley heavy" as the manufacturer's museum in Milwaukee. Hope you had a comfy wagon hired for that epic mileage.

I'm still intruiged by Nebraska being the destination. I've driven through Nebraska and the only thing I saw was a prison and a large sign on the side of the road saying 'Don't pick up hitchhikers..'

Hi stuart,
There wasn't much, but a few bargains were loaded.
Hugh.
It's coming and its stoopid.
Tony.
Well Hugh, here it is.
" DO SOMETHING STOOPID"

This is "car henge"
It is astromically laid out to our original.
If I look cold, to damn right I am, yesterday was 95 and very humid.
The storms cleared the heat, and today was 40 with a wind chill feeling like it was freezing.
Very stoopid, but No aliens.

I worked r a while with the creator of carhenge. Jim Reinders was a technical manager for Schlumberger in London in the late 70s. Interesting chap!

Hi Hugh,
I knew you would apreciate that one.
We passed plenty of prisons, it made use laugh each time reading the sign on the fence,
WARNING,beware hitch hikers may be escaped convicts.
Roger, I managed to stay in the cold long enough to read about the creator, and you are spot on.
Whe he returned, they had a family get to gether. We're the first 15 cars were buried in 6 days.
I did wonder why they latter filled in the windows etc.
But the picture below may explain that.
The picture is NOT of a couple of condoms, these are the skins shed by rattle snacks.

The next leg was quite long.
So we drove 2 1/2 hour after car henge, and another 8 1/2 hours today.
This was to get to AUSTIN Minnesota.
Sorry there is no pic, it's to cold and wet.
You can check it for yourselves on Google maps.
Tony.

At the incredible prices they pay for bikes and fragments of on "American Pickers" there is a fortune in those bike shows.
