I use a modern type ethylene glycol antifreeze both as a frost protector and rust inhibitor and leave it in the car all year round. My question is does it find all the weak spots in the cooling system like the old stuff did. Having said all this my car has been filled with the new stuff for the past nine months without any leaks.Does it just mean I have no weak spots or antifreeze formula has been changed over the years.
