Over the last week the Zenith Carburettor on my Pearl cabriolet has been weeping from the Banjo, however on investigation it would seem that the threaded section of the carburettor is partly stripped.
Is there a simple fix for this, or would i be best looking for a replacement carburettor?

The thread is 12mm. Later Zeniths were 1/2 UNF Anyone who dabbles in later cars will have. The purists wince but I have recovered several by tapping out to the later. Pity you not in NZ. Have a dozen or more ex Jowetts. Presumably available new.

If swapping parts remember the recent post about matching bowls and bodies.
