The blue and white machine has no skis, so probably not a creation of Mr Williams. I have my doubts about the alleged German origins of the other machine. No running boards and so no cascade of leather satchels! Probably fearsome performance though, with lc head, Zenith carb and exhaust not constrained by an external fish tail. It is a pity that the car's competition provenance isn't supported by photos of it doing handbrake turns round the back of the tollbooths at AVUS in 1938.
