Does anyone have any tips or tricks of how to tighten the front spring u-bolts on a Mk11 Pearl? I have managed to tighten the two forward nuts but can't see how to get to the rear nuts without removing the front grille and raising the front of the engine Sad . Unfortunately the nuts were not fitted with tab washers and have come loose.

I specially bent/buggered a long thin ring spanner in a convoluted shape to reach the rear nuts on my RP.
I could only get about an eighth of a turn per go, but it worked.

It was a few years ago, but I seem to remember removing the radiator to gain access (after lifting off the bonnet and unbolting the front end of the bonnet support strut but otherwise leaving the bodywork intact).
