Is anyone able to confirm please what is the thread on the fuel pipe banjo connector bolt for a Zenith VM5?
(Is this thread standard on all Zenith carbs?)
Thanks, Chris

I thought you might know Ian...
I'm fairly sure that's what the banjo bolt I have is. I just wanted to make sure before cleaning up the internal thread as it's jamming after a few turns.

Many post war Zeniths had 1/2 inch UNF fitting, which is easly confused. (Poor thread can be recut for the later fittings; over a short length the pitch difference hardly matters)

If it helps I can confirm 26VA is M12 1.25. I bought a tap the other day to clean up a spare.

Thanks all. Yes, I had one of the 26VA connectors off Jamie at Beaulieu. My doubt arises from the fact that it goes in a couple of turns then jams up. It probably just needs a tap running down the internal thread but I wanted to check it wasn't in fact a slightly different thread.
