No problem Ruairidh, Click the filmstrip, as per the screenshot below. Select the source site from the drop down, paste the url, and click insert.
Interestingly it will actually put the video into the reply box so that you can see it (though it won't allow you to full screen until you preview or post). I've just checked as I was unsure myself, and it doesn't seem to matter whether you use the 'share' url or just the normal page url.
