I have just received the very sad news that Bob Wyatt, President of the A7CA and lifelong Austin author and enthusiast, died yesterday.

Very sad news. I grew up with his excellent "Motor for the Million" book.

That is sad news indeed. I remember visiting Bob at his home near to where I lived in Wokingham. We had some interesting conversations indeed.

There wasn't much you could tell him about Austin Sevens!!!

LIfe's too short, that's for sure.

Oh, how very sad. His son rang me last week - he had asked his Dad about Abrahams and the Experimental Department for me after I wrote. Bob had heard of him...

I'm using his book all the time. And am so glad that we have this recent small exchange documented - helpful to the last.

Very sad to hear of Bob Wyatt's death. His book was the first book on the Austin 7 that I bought when I had my first one.
