Hi david,

Willie McKenzie used to do the NEC.

But willie also does a lot of parts for larger more expensive cars, so may find it worth wile as a business.

I doubt you will find any other 7 suppliers there, a long weekend for no money. Does not make a business.

The last time I went, 10 years ago. The stall holders I knew who were standing. We're all complaining about what had been stolen.

I doubt much has changed in 10 years.

Tony.

I am sure you are right. Beaulieu Autojumbles are bad enough, but the NEC makes them look like a village bring & buy!
I think there are a couple of Club stands to check out A7's on!

Hi david,

Enjoy the weekend.

Let us know how it goes and what you think.

Autojumble stalls are £240 for 4m x 2m not very big.

Or I can set out as a business selling new bits for £420 for 4m x 2m

With there only being two austin 7 club stands, to attract buyers.  I think it would be a struggle to break even for any 7 suppliers. Never mind.

in stead of Waisting my time and money I'm hopeing to attend a local rememberance day in the 7 that I was invited to earlier in the year. Well if the weather holds that is. The supersports is fun, but not in the wet with NO wipers.

Some nice cars on the stand and really wanted to see Dave's box saloon again but at 60 quid for 2 adults to get in plus 16 quid to park sadly it's not affordable, will try and see the car in the flesh when it gets loaned ,

Went today for first time. Some beautifully restored cars and Dave Wilcox’s car is magnificent. Fly in the ointment is Mr Robin B*st**d’s Car Park charge. Could be Goose that lays the Golden Egg syndrome.

Yes I don't agree with the car park charge or the hike in ticket prices tbh, Dave's saloon is a lovely correct 33 rp very rare in the 2 tone brown as don't tend to see many saloons in that colour scheme, was very close to Dave myself so to see the car again would bring back so many memories of a wonderful man, glad you enjoyed the show
