Thought you might be interested in this little gem bought at the Beaulieu autojumble a couple of weeks ago. It is an adjustable Zenith compensating jet for the earlier carburettors.

Chris,
the compensating jet that I have is marked D.R.G.M so obviously German.
Does yours have pat.appld for on it?

Robert.

Robert,
The only marking is "PAT AP FOR" on one of the hexagon flats.
Jet markings on the ring closest to the hexagon range from 1 - 6, on the other, 7 - 12.
Index dimple on one of the hexagon flats.
I have had this item for many years, never seen another, nor a compensating jet.
I remember experimenting with it in the early days but do not recollect the results. Rather a tedious exercise at the expense of much fuel!!
