I was most interested to see Prince Bira in the side-valve racer at the 1936 Nuffield Trophy race at 8.11. He finished 5th after the OHC cars dropped out with piston damage due to the mixture leaning out on bends. Bira would have won but an ignition lead came off. Sir Herbert lent Bira the side-valve racer for the race and had it painted in Bira's pale blue colour.

Yes, I have seen this before. The build is very interesting. Particularly noticed the captive nuts for the tail fastening. Not Dzus fasteners at that point.
