ELTOS Remote Gear Lever
#1
The ELTOS - it looks to be a rather well-made boy-racer accessory (if a tad expensive): https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/226670117212?...&recoPos=1

I have one of these on the Ulster. Can recommend them except because the gear positions are reversed ( 2nd is left and back, top is left and forward) they take a bit to get used to.

I prefer my self made item which retains the original change layout, and like the Eltos is quite positive because it is only fixed to the gearbox, not the tunnel.

I’ve got one on my Ulster too, get them right and they change brilliantly.I think it took me around eight hours to make one when I did them years ago,and add the cost of the castings now £125-150 ?
When Quarry engineering made them I think they were £450 10 years ago.

I am well aware that it went wrong, and I am still wondering how to put in something satisfactory. All advice gratefully received.

Have you tried turning it off and back on again?
(Sorry!)

BTW I just copied everything after the first closing square bracket until the last opening square bracket, posted into a browser.
The photo appeared. I saved that to my local machine and then uploaded it to the very effective A7 Friends Forum image hosting, inserted it into my post and bingo.
