Yes, it is one of the very late 'heavy' type.
I have an Autojumble find 0 8000 Rpm Tacho fitted in place of the fuel Gauge on my EB65 my petrol gauge is now a Teak notched stick.
Mine Tacho suffers from points bounce and becomes erratic at high revs. I have seen 6000 RPM in fourth gear a couple of times. ( when the points are not bouncing ) My Tacho is a 1960s style face with chrome bezel so it looks a little out of place. Wiring it up was really simple as it takes signal from the points side of the coil only two wires.

Hello
Has anyone found a solution to get a Tacho working on a magneto engine. I have tried one of the cheap inductive type with a wire looped around a plug lead but the display jumps around too much? Thanks |
