1930 Boat Tail Tourer
#1
Time to sell my 1930 Boat Tail Tourer.   I posted on the forum for some time as sparkeysprite and there is probably more information on this car if you look at my previous posts under that name (new computer and lost my login - despite numerous attempts I couldn't rest my password - so start again as Steves7..)

I've had the car for about 3 years and it's been fun, but I'm not using it much so maybe time to move it on.  It's a scruffy little thing and although the photos were taken only a few weeks ago they do flatter the car cosmetically.  I considered restoring it when I got it, but I like the fact it looks like it's had a life. The interior is tidy and I suspect that the seats have had new covers at some stage.  The car has no hood or tonneau - it did come with a hood frame but I suspect not the right one.

It's been reliable for me and apart from regular trips around the Peak District it's had longer runs to VSCC events and to the Centenary Event in 2022 (5 hour trip each way!).  I had planned to try some trials but I'm not sure it's the right car for trialling.

It's not being advertised anywhere else yet and I'm open to offers.  As you'll see from my previous posts (as sparkeysprite) I'm no Austin 7 expert and will probably not be able to answer any detailed questions on originality etc, so if you're interested it would be best to come and see it in the Peak District.  I'm happy to send further photos - just let me know what you want to see.

Best regards

Steve
