URGENT - DVLA consultation on historic vehicle registration processes, how to answer

You have a point Charles, but we contribute to the economy in so many other ways, such as small to medium business, independent engineers, the hospitality sector with our various runs, tours and events and all with minimum impact to the roads.

Like Alan, I jump into the Austin Seven, the Alfa or the Velocette at the drop of a hat to do the shopping, collect parts or off for a spot of touring, outside of busy hours and the school holidays to enjoy relatively quiet B roads, so any potential restriction to use should be nipped in the bud pdq.

Ivor

My wife's modern car did 3,300 miles last year at tax of £330.
That car also uses the same plethora of independent engineers and the driver frequents hospitality venues, contributing to the economy in much the same way
