I understand that the Queen (Princess Elizabeth at the time) worked on military Sevens during her wartime service. I learned this on one of the inter club quizzes in the nineteen eighties: I guessed Princess Elizabeth in response to a question asking which member of the Royal Family had worked on Austin Sevens. We were told this was correct, but I do not know the source used for compiling the question.

There are photos of her working on Austin 8s, but I have never seen any of her working on Sevens.
Someone on Facebook wrote, yesterday, that an article was published in the A7CA Magazine about her working on Sevens… |
