Yes Reckers the police force had a variety of nicknames and descriptive non words. In m force there were two officers with unfortunate names one being Seamen and the other Bates. I leave you to easily work out there nicknames. The other non word that comes to mind is Snafu for the idle will not work thick as pig poo tow rags. Snafu short for sub normal and f*****g useless.
