Yes, exactly that. There is a large coil spring on the release bearing which will push it back off the levers. While you're at it put a few drops of oil down the lubricating tube to feed the release bearing.

On depressing the clutch pedal the large bearing should move forward and contact the three release levers on the clutch housing - this is what you'll be moving:

If you move the bearing forwards and re-adjust the pedal clamp there should be enough residual free play in the mechanism to ensure that the bearing isn't rotating constantly in contact with the clutch levers. If it is you can just back it off a bit.
