Hi Jack,
You may remember we've been in contact before when like me you were a member of the Morris Register. My 1936 Morris 8 Tourer spent most of its early life in Oxford and you knew of its last owner in Oxford a Martin J. Young. I can confirm what others have said, the supports / uprights are from 1935 to 1938 Morris 8 Series 1 & 2 Two-Seater and Four-Seater Tourers - not the easiest parts to find though the Wing Nuts, Cone Washers, D Washers etc are the same as MG TC's and are available new from NTG Motor Services Ltd. Suggest you drop David Molyneux an email: dmmmem@tiscali.co.uk he supplies used Morris 8 parts mainly mechanical and body parts for Saloons rather than Tourers, but you never know.
