Not allowing dogs at Morton is not something our organisers have dreamed up. It is a specific condition imposed by the Fire Station College. As well as training fire people they also train dogs for the fire service and other services. These are very specialised dogs and the training they go through is equally specialised. The College confirm the presence of 'general' dogs on the site risks adversly affecting that specialised training and so they have a 'no dogs' rule for anyone wanting to hire their venue. No doubt some will say that's ridiculous. However, those same people don't do what the staff at the College do. Sometimes you simply have to take the word of the experts and, in this case, we're talking about some of the best trainers of specialised dogs on the planet. Seems perfectly reasonable to me.
