I do not understand this post and why some dog owners think it their god given right to bring their animals into other peoples spaces. Barry you might say that you have enough control over your dog the prevent it from soiling the grounds or lifting its leg over someone's pride and joy but unfortunately not all owners are that responsible or have well behaved dogs. I am in full support of the organiser's making a no dog rule and don't understand why you feel the need to air this on the forum, just leave your dog at home or with a family member.
PS I am a dog owner not a dog hater.
