Steering worm gear

I've seen D140 and Steering box lube mentioned for replacement of grease generally after things have been cleaned out. Are there any who would wish to recommend anything else... including grease?

I find that 140 grade oil in my (vintage albeit) steering box leads to 140 grade oil on the garage floor shortly afterwards. I don't think the felt seal is good enough, even when I've replaced it.

I tend to use MS3 or whatever Moly grease I can get hold of on the basis that the MoS2 provides lubrication even under very high squeezing pressure, i.e. between the gears.
