I will be driving an Austin 7 to the Centenary event, for the full five days, and don't give a damn how much it costs! It will cost less than a days salmon fishing, deer stalking, grouse shooting, or whatever.
As for a momento of the event, I personally would favour a commemorative medal as suggested by Mike Costigan.  An alternative might be a stamped metal 'Monte Carlo' type rally plaque.  Whatever the momento is, I would like it to be of period appearance.
