I was sent this information years ago from the archivist at British Heritage. It was as near as I can tell bodied as a chummy by Properts using steel pressings for the main body from Holden. Didn't the information from the Gaydon (British Motor Museum) Factory books give the approximate engine build date ? My 1929 cars are all listed and full details including 'Chassis for Export' were recorded-
Typically Engine Number M 83747, Chassis 83609, Car Number A8 6175, Longbridge build date 26 April 1929.
