dodgy emails
#1
Checking emails this morning, I received one claiming to come from the forum, wanting to tell me about new comments. This has never happened before so I immediately deleted it. There has been a recent flurry of scam emails. Some based on someone's stolen sdress list, as happened to Julian Hunt. One earlier this week was claiming to come from DVLA, and some scams work on finding out about courier service, wanting the potential vistim to send credit card details, even thuogh the vital package had already been delivered. So should I worry about emails pretending to be from the forum, or is there a newly plugged in algorythm that wants to wake up contributors who have not gone onto the site recently enough?
